It appears to be the trend now to "angst" and "emo", and based on my extremely meticulous study of teenage behaviour, there are extremely implicit yet undeniable differences between the two.
Apparently when you angst, you go "ARGH LIFE SUX!". And when you emo, you go "sigh...life sux."
So basically, its a difference between >=( and =(.
And somehow, goth is related somewhere I suppose as well. But that is deeper study which I have yet to venture into.
yuPPP.
In order for me to remain trendy and kewLLL(which is also a new word i have just discovered, courtesy of sk), I shall be emo.
I shall be GOTH MO. MWHAHAHA. (actually, I think I'm supposed to be souding despondent here, so despondent I shall be.)
I shall begin with a poem. And it shall be be called "Shadows" because I find that an adequately depressing name which screams out "THERAPY".
So "Shadows" it shall be.
It shall go something like...
Furious, wild, unpredictable
Searing by in their dark glory
Blowing cavities of insanity in my mind,
Leaving rot and ruin behind.
I have rats in my brain,
And wings and worms and things that buzz
eating at the decay of my thoughts
driving me out of my mind.
Okay I find that is sufficiently KEWL of me now.
If teenagers have to think like that to be trendy...
I'd rather be a 17 year old senior citizen.
Which wouldn't change the fact that I'm insane anyway.
and who am i?
thats a secret I'll never tell.
you know you love me.
xoxo
